The Beton Hala Waterfront centre (BHWC) is located by River Sava and will become the principal arrival point into Belgrade for European tourists cruising River Sava and Danube. It is a short walk from the old city, the historical Belgrade fortress and touristic attractions.
The BHWC urban concept creates active river frontage, establishing public transport links (water, tram, coach, cable car), enhanced pedestrian access and cultural links to historic Belgrade. It will become the Gate for Belgrade European Capital of Culture in 2020.
Taking advantage of the site level differences, BHWC is developed on multiple levels. This creates several landscaped river frontages, includes the regeneration of the historical building Beton Hala, offers a mix of commercial and cultural uses, underground parking and dynamic indoor and outdoor public spaces
