An Urban Regeneration & Master Planning Feasibility Study for a 13ha site in central Salisbury in collaboration with Alder King Property Consultants, Gardiner & Theobald Cost Consultants & Mouchel Traffic & Infrastructure Consultants.
The design team worked closely with the Planning & Regeneration team at Salisbury District Council to deliver a series of mixed use town centre appraisals reviewing public transport & accessibility (existing and proposed), better use of existing watercourses and hydrology, studies of existing building massing, vision corridors relating to planning & listed buildings, improving urban public realm, improving human scale, studies into modern & sustainable approaches to car parking, understanding the value of existing building stock and getting the right mix of uses on the site to meet current demand and deliver the right environment for the Salisbury of the future. The project was delivered by BCIdesign’s directors in Burrows Cave International.
