We are a multi-disciplinary practice of architects, masterplanners, interior designers, graphic designers and development and construction experts. We specialise in major commercial, retail, leisure, residential and mixed-use developments. We are based in Central London and have an international track record working across Europe, North and Central Africa, Middle East, Far East and North America.

We understand the economics of development, effectively serving Institutions, Investors, Developers, Regeneration Agencies, National & Local Governments and end-user clients. Our understanding of commercial and retail constraints and the requirements of end user clients puts us in a great position to develop a brief and get the best value for our clients.

We are specialists in mixed use, retail, entertainment, hospitality, commercial and residential design and in recognition of our achievements we won the EG Retail Awards for our mixed use retail-led scheme in Cluj, Romania.

Our clients include: Capital and Counties, Henderson Global, The Light Cinemas, London Clubs International, Baneasa Developments, Kinomax, ExxonMobil, Immofinanz, Immoauchan, Damac and Pradera.

Working closely with our clients, we create dynamic, highly innovative and commercially successful concepts, producing high quality 3D visual material as a design aid and for investment & tenant marketing purposes.

We offer a one-stop shop for architectural services overseas where we have established long standing relationships with our local design partners with JV offices in Amman, Ankara, Bucharest, Belgrade, Cairo, Casablanca, Dubai, Riga, Madrid, Malaga, Manama, Moscow, Paris, Poland, Riyadh and Khobar. We form joint ventures with the best architectural practices locally to ensure we provide a seamless service utilising the best local knowledge. This approach has helped us deliver over 200 projects in 40 countries.

BCIdesign was formed by the senior managers of the now dissolved Burrows Cave International and the projects showcased on this website pre-2009 were undertaken whilst the directors were at Burrows Cave International.

BCIstudio was formed in 2012 as a specific vehicle to support our international clients for services that were not traditionally provided by BCIdesign, including site acquisition, project financing, integration of renewable technologies and development consultancy services.
