Sam is an ARB-registered architect. His projects range from large new town masterplans, to end-user buildings and office fit-outs. His Camborne office design won a British Council of Offices award and an Office Agents Society award. Sam frequently speaks at major industry events including UKTI, Leeds Retail Week and is a guest judge at the National Association of Shop Fitters annual awards.

Sam has an established portfolio in western, central and eastern Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, including the UK, Slovakia, Egypt, Russia, Montenegro, Romania, Portugal, France, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Hungary, Syria, China, Jordan and Turkey.

He specialises in retail, office, leisure and hospitality design. His clients are investment funds, developers, blue-chip companies, retail and leisure operators, local authorities and regional development agencies. These include Henderson Global Investors, London Clubs International, Tameer, Freeport Leisure, Salisbury District Council, AIG Lincoln, Medway District Council, Immofinanz, ExxonMobil, NCH Domuss, Futureal, Modus Properties, Development Securities, Akeler Developments, Arlington Securities Ltd, Industrial Securities, Glaxo Smith Kline and Legal & General

Mara qualified as an architect in 2004. She graduated with Distinction from University of Westminster, London, UK in 2002 and from the Institute of Architecture 'Ion Mincu', Romania in 1999. Mara worked in Romania for "4X4"Architecture Bureau on commercial and residential projects throughout the country. She then worked in USA for New -York based Freyer Collaborative Architects on American retail, office and residential projects. Following graduation in 2002, Mara continued her professional experience in the UK with Bernard Stilwell Architects.

Mara joined BCI design in 2005 bringing international experience in the design process, from feasibility to completion. Through completed projects in UK, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, she extended her professional expertise in mixed-use masterplanning, retail and entertainment projects. Recent projects include: Alea Casino, Leeds, UK; Akademia Shopping Centre, Cluj, Romania (EG Retail Award, Mapic 2007); Shopping Centre Budapest, Hungary, Retail Park Miskolc, Hungary, 120ha Masterplan Tractorul Brasov, Romania; Mixed Use Masterplan Cluj, Romania etc. Mara is responsible for project and design management, client management and marketing of BCIdesign. Mara now concentrates on BCIdesign’s East Europe portfolio.

HAITHAM EL MOHEENB.Sc. Arch M.Sc. E.E.S

Haitham qualified as an architect from Cairo University, in the Middle East. He has more than 10 years of providing design expertise and talent on a wide variety of projects. Haitham is responsible for developing the firm’s business markets both domestically and internationally.

At BCIdesign, Haitham focuses on designing vibrant destination retail and urban entertainment centres, resort casinos and resort hotels, mixed-use developments containing commercial, residential and cultural facilities, and regional master planning. Haitham’s client list includes top developers and industry leaders in the Middle East, North Africa and Europe.

Prior to joining BCIdesign, he worked at CPMG Architects and Franklin Ellis Architects in England and Community Design Collaborative CDC-Abdelhalim in Egypt.. Whilst in the Middle East he worked on major international projects covering institutional, residential, leisure, education, commercial and mixed-use projects. During his time in Cairo he won a national architectural design competition organized by the Egyptian Ministry of Culture. Haitham also has M.Sc. degree in architecture from Nottingham University focusing on sustainability and renewable energy.

Haitham looks after BCIdesign’s Middle East and North African portfolio and our sustainability and diversity programme. Haitham speaks English and Arabic.

ANIA FUDALIMA HR Management

Ania Fudali is Director, Company Secretary and Business Manager at BCIdesign.

Ania joined BCIdesign in 2007. Prior to joining BCIdesign, she worked for architectural practices in Poland, Singapore and London. In 2008 Ania graduated from Westminster Business School in London with MA in Human Resources Management.

Ania is a key member of the Board of Directors and oversees all of BCIdesign’s financial, business, marketing and human resources requirements and is the main point of contact for all of BCIdesign’s queries. She is an energetic and vivacious individual who has capitalized on her UK and International business experience. Ania enjoys client and employee interaction and the opportunities that a fast-paced environment has to offer.

Ania speaks English and Polish and has a good understanding of Russian.
