Henderson Global Investors planned to upgrade their leisure component at the Brewery in Romford.
The concept proposed a new indoor piazza with six new major restaurant units and four café kiosks, each with external seating areas to complement the existing leisure offer of a Vue multiplex, bowling and upper level chain restaurants. The extension and redevelopment created an additional 2,500sqm of lettable leisure space improving the general ambience currently dominated by the Sainsbury’s Superstore and included the full refurbishment of the existing car park to meet Park Mark standards. The car park works were completed in March 2009.
