Alea Casino is a 7,400sqm luxury casino facility in the heart of Nottingham, purpose built within the original 3-level Cooperative Department Store in Upper Parliament Street (1910) The casino consists of traditional casino and poker areas, electronic gaming a restaurant and two bars.
Entered from two levels, the internal environment is dominated by the elegance of the staircases and double volume spaces interconnecting one area to another. The casino launched in 2007.
The project was originally delivered by BCIdesign’s directors in Burrows Cave International and BCIdesign continue to provide design support services for this project and London Clubs International’s estate portfolio generally.
