A repeat commission following the success of Bucuresti Mall, Romania’s first major shopping mall, Plaza Romania represents some 40,000sqm of retail and leisure space in a building of nearly 70,000sqm with more than 2,000 car spaces, located on the corner of two major roads - Boulevards Timisoara and Lujerului, in the west of the city.
Completed in 2004, the development includes a GIMA hypermarket, 8,000 sq m DIY retail warehouse, a 13-screen multiplex, shops and restaurants and 1,200 parking spaces and the first Zara store in Romania. The project was delivered by BCIdesign’s directors in Burrows Cave International.
