Situated on the shore of the Black Sea, the 320-key Hilton Hotel sits on a tight 2,600sqm steeply-sloping site and is part of the Helios Group of hotels, including the adjacent Ramada hotel.
The scheme incorporates a multi-function dining/entertaining space, large auditorium seating 200 people plus à la carte dining, bars and roof-top restaurant overlooking the Black Sea.
BCIdesign were commissioned to redesign the façade elements of the building taking on board the constraints already imposed by the local architect and interior designer. The concept brings together natural stone and structural glazing, creating variation by alternating the material finish between hotel rooms and balconies.
