Victoria Road

British Broadcasting Corporation brief was a design for a commercially viable scheme for land sale at their surplus Victoria Road site. The scheme comprised of 207 apartments to a maximum height of 21 storeys, 1,225sqm of retail and restaurant space at ground and 2,030sqm office/leisure space at first floor level, with associated car parking spaces and cycle parking spaces and dedicated winter garden for 1st floor users. The stepped back horse-shoe footprint to the residential towers offers opportunities for roof top gardens, terraces and balconies maximising south light potential. The project was delivered by BCIdesign’s directors in Burrows Cave International .
