This concept developed the retail and entertainment strategy for Madinat Al-Majd, Tammer’s Holding first mega project in Jordan.
Madinat Al-Majd is the future home for more than 50,000 residents located in the New Zarqa area. The main strategy of the project was to consolidate the fragmented retail and entertainment component of the development to create a regional shopping centre aiming to serve the development, Al Zarqaa City and the region.
The scheme features 45,000sqm shopping centre, a 5000sqm entertainment centre, traditional souk, a retail shopping boulevard and offices. The shopping centre is to be anchored by Carrefour and three other major anchor stores. In addition the entertainment centre will house a multiplex cinema, food court, bowling and silver service restaurants.
Parking for 2,500 cars will be provided in basement car parking. The project was delivered by BCIdesign’s directors in Burrows Cave International .
